3D Systems, Inc. VP - Go To Market Sales, Americas in San Diego, California
This position will be the leader for all Printer, Software and Material sales in the Americas. This includes Canada, USA and all of Latin America. This position may be based out of Rock Hill, SC or San Diego, CA. Primary business responsibilities will be focused on leading our Americas GTM sales team with accountability towards growing revenue, P&L and market penetration. This individual will also be responsible for aligning strategies and leveraging resources within Marketing and the regional leaders of Asia Pacific and Europe, Africa, Middle East regions. The successful candidate should have a positive track record of building a successful sales force while ensuring a positive work environment emphasizing teamwork towards common goals.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Manages and directs sales leaders and a sales force to achieve sales, profit and market share goals. Overseeing both direct sales and channel sales in Printers, Software and Materials. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as direct manager to printer sales team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and as advisor to other teams in office. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Evaluates and manages new strategic business opportunities, initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Works closely with the Leadership and Employees to identify specific opportunities, assessing the value and fit of those opportunities, and locating and utilizing the necessary resources to quickly and efficiently capitalize on strategies to create and sustain a preemptive competitive advantage
Facilitates change management initiatives at the regional level, consulting with management team to ensure effective communication and adherence to defined processes or procedures
Provides guidance and direction to the Leadership and Employees with emphasis on maintaining a high performing work environment.
Coordinate with corporate leadership on initiatives, standard reporting, forecasting and other tasks as necessary.
Coordinate and collaborate with corporate and regional functions including Finance, Corporate and product Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Customer Service to ensure alignment across all areas of the business.
Manages performance management processes; drive training and management development initiatives throughout the organization May be responsible for managing activities inherent to managers in selecting scheduling, training, motivating, coaching, disciplining and evaluating employees. May serve as a mentor to less senior individuals.
Establishes and maintains positive employee and community relations
Identifies and implements strategies to provide demonstrated improvement against key measures.
Introduces process improvement techniques in a meaningful way.

Drives definition, design and implementation for long-term company assets in and around the overall sales and customer engagement process (SalesForce adoption, training of employees)
Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4-year equivalent degree in Business, Economics, or a technically related field.
At least 20 years of total experience in a corporate environment working for a Global Corporation. With at least 10 years’, experience supervising and leading a sales organization with multiple support functions.
Leading a sales organization that has minimum of 10 sales representatives or account executives
At least 5 years working for a manufacturing, engineering or technology company
At least 5 years of 2D or 3D printing sales experience
At least 5 years of Channel sales experience
Managing multiple corporate functions
Working in a matrix environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Vertical market experience (Identify, plan, develop and implement strategy)
Strong organizational, leadership, and learning and development skills required
Must have a good understanding of Positive Employee Relations
Good working knowledge of key metrics as they relate to manufacturing operations and support functions
